AIBCU pins high hopes in PM on Mandal report

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Jan 6: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) today said that major long pending demands of the PoK, WP refugees and Kashmiri migrants which the previous NC-Congress Governments failed to accede have been conceded by the present Union Government. The main issues of the PoK & WP refugees were of the compensations and the domicile certificates and the two issues have been taken seriously & vigorously by the Prime Minister. Besides, the previous UPA Government promised but failed to fulfill the employment package for the KPs, which has also been conceded by present Government.
All these steps taken up by the Prime Minister indicate that he is coming close to his election promises. The AIBCU said that OBCs who have been suffering a lot since the Apex Court’s judgment of 1992 on Mandal Report have pinned high hopes on Prime Minister who vigorously raised the issue of Mandal report in the State for the State OBCs. Till date there were no signs for taking up the agenda of the implementation of Mandal report as neither the State nor the Centre’s BJP leadership had given any statement on the issue. Now as the PM is taking up the issues of the State people one by one, it is hoped that the next agenda of the Prime Minister would be to fulfill the promise made by him with the State OBCs regarding the Implementation of Mandal Report.
