AIBCU holds meet

JAMMU, Mar 30: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Abdul Majid Malik.
During the meeting, the speakers expressed their concern over the way of selection of MLCs by ignoring the due representation of State OBCs.
They added that NC and Congress regime looted the due share of 27 per cent reservation granted by the Apex Court besides ignoring the due representation in both the houses.
The new dispensation of BJP and PDP has till date selected MLCs only from the Upper Castes without considering the appeal of the State OBCs, they stated.
They further made a scatting attack over the nominations of 8 MLC seats and warned to adopt legal course of action if they failed to get any positive response from the Governor in this matter.
Among others present were Darshan Lal, Sandokh Chand, Bodh Raj Dogra, Raju Kumar, Deepak Panday, Sain Dass, Puran Chargotra, HD Betab, Ghulam Rasool, Mohammad Kabir, Mohammad Irfan, Prof Kali Dass, etc.
