JAMMU, Sept 22: Accountant General’s (AG’s) Football team blanked Court Road Football Club by seven goals to nil (7-0) in the A-Division match of the ongoing J&K State Power Development Corporation Annual League Football Tournament, being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA), DFA Srinagar, here.
For AG’s Office, Waseem Yousuf pelted all seven goals in 2nd, 9th, 19th, 21st, 24th, 46th and 68th minutes respectively.
In Super Division match, Food and Supplies registered a solitary goal win over Maharaja Sports and the goal scorer was Waseem, who found the net in 55th minute.
Meanwhile, in B-Division matches at Polo Ground, three matches were played today.
In the first match, Bilalia FC outplayed Solina-B by two goals to nil (2-0). Rayees and Ishtaq were the goal scorers for the winners.
In B-Division second match, Burn Hall School defeated Poloview FC by four goals to one (4-1). The first goal of the match was scored by Hashim of Poloview FC in 7th minute while Fahad of Burn Hall scored an equalizer in the 19 minute. In the second half of the game, Burn Hall boys scored back to back three goals, two through Amir in 45th and 46th minute and one goal through Showkat in 55th minute of the match.
In the third match of B-Division football, Aluchi Bagh FC held Alfurkan FC to a goalless draw. Both the teams despite making valiant efforts failed to beat each others defence.
