Afghan national arrested in Baramulla

Srinagar, July 13: An Afghan national who was living illegally in Valley was arrested from Baramulla district of North Kashmir today.
Sources said the Baramulla Police , Army’s 52RR and 53 Battalion of CRPF arrested Muhammad Dawood, the Afghan national, from Kanispora area of Baramulla.
They said that the Afghan individual was trespassing without valid documents, adding that he was earlier arrested in Delhi under NDPS and then bailed out by a court.
Sources said the Afghan national wanted to ex-filtrate to Pakistan via Line of Control (LoC) and then apparently to his country. “He is being questioned and further details are awaited,” sources said and ruled out his links with militancy.
