Afaq Shopyani re-elected as president of Patwar Association

JAMMU, Jan 13: Afaq Shopyani has been re-elected as the State president of J&K Patwar Association, elections of which were held today.
Raman Raj Sharma and Sajad Bhat were elected as senior vice president while Mir Manzoor Ahmed was elected general secretary. Ahsan-ul-Haq   and Kanwser Niyazi were elected secretaries, Sheikh Mohd Syed as chief organizer, Firyad Ali as accountant general, Shokat Raseed Sheikh as cashier, Riyaz Ah Zari as publicity secretary and Ayaz Ahad as special member.
The elected body was given oath by ex general secretary Nisar Abni Shouq.
In the election, delegates from far-flung areas of Kashmir, Ladakh and Jammu participated in large numbers.
Earlier, all district presidents of both the provinces participated in the programme of discussion on the previous performance of the State committee.  The State president replied the points raised in the programme satisfactory.
