SAMBA, Mar 7: An AE of Power Development Department (PDD) was killed after hit by a train at railway track near Raya Morh in Vijaypur tehsil of Samba district today.
He has been identified as Madan Lal, 55, S/o Devi Dayal of Kheri, Bishnah. He was hit by train Gareeb Rath which was on way to Jammu from Kath Gudam, Uttarakhand. He was posted at Sub Division PDD Hiranagar.
His dead body was shifted to mortuary room of Community Health Centre Ramgarh for postmortem. In this regard GRP has registered a case under relevant Sections of law and started investigation.
