SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir’s Advocate General D C Raina today called on Governor Satya Pal Malik and briefed him about the status of cases pending in the high courts and the Supreme Court which relate to the State, an official spokesperson said.
Raina met the Governor at the Raj Bhavan here, he said.
The spokesperson said Raina discussed with the Governor the to-date status of all the important cases pending in the high courts and Supreme Court which relate to J&K.
Pertinently, cases challenging Article 35-A and Article 370 of the Constitution – which grant special status to Jammu and Kashmir – are in progress in the Supreme Court. (AGENCIES)
