Admiral Anand assumes charge as Navy’s Controller of Logistics

NEW DELHI, May 17: Vice Admiral Sunil Anand N M today assumed charge as Indian Navy’s Controller of Logistics.

He succeeded Vice Admiral Jaywant Korde who retired from service.

Prior to assuming his new position, Anand was Assistant Controller of Logistics at Integrated Headquarters (Navy) in the Defence Ministry here.

The Logistics wing of the Navy is a key department handling strategic assets of the force.

An alumnus of Indian Naval Academy, Anand was commissioned into the Indian Navy in 1983.

He has served in many key positions in the Navy including as Command Logistics officer of the Tri Services Command based at Andaman and Nicobar. (PTI)
