REASI, Dec 1: Naveen Agarwal, Additional Director General of Police, Trainings, PHQ today visited Subsidiary Training Centre Talwara Reasi, and took stock of the facilities being provided to the trainees and the quality of training being imparted.
This was his first visit to STC Talwara after taking over as ADGP Trainings, PHQ.
He was presented a guard of honour in the Training Centre. A power point presentation was given by the Principal STC Talwara Mohammad Jhangir Khan. He also briefed the ADGP (Trainings) about the training activities and quality of training being imparted to the trainees in the Institute.
The ADGP (Trainings) held Darbar of trainees and staff and intimated that the responsibilities of police have increased manifold and it has become necessary to impart quality training to the trainees.
During the visit, ADGP (Training) interacted with the Officers and staff members. He also held a meeting of officers and training staff of the institution and stressed upon them to provide quality training to the trainees. He inspected indoor and outdoor faculties.
Aggarwal inspected the area and infrastructure of STC Talwara in detail and issued important instructions on spot besides, also discussed various issues pertaining to the improvement of training in the institute and sharpening of training skills to enhance professional capabilities.
