SRINAGAR, Feb 15: Additional Director General of Police Armed Lalat Indu Mohanty today chaired a meeting to review preparedness of the Department in dealing with law and order exigencies as per SOPs and facilities for force personnel.
The ADGP who visited the valley today held threadbare discussions with officers of the department in dealing with law and order handling, availability of equipments and transport, additional man power during exigencies, basic amenities including healthcare facilities, sports activities, cleanliness in police quarters and messes for Armed Police jawans.
During the meeting, the ADGP stressed for creating satisfactory facilities for force personnel in Armed Police Complexes. He said thrust should be given on raising their living standard at work place, besides conducting of sports activities, cultural programs, physical training etc as a part of stress reducing activities.
The officers were asked to pay attentions towards completion of service records of their sub-ordinates so that they don’t face any difficulty before the Departmental Promotion Committees for want of APRs and annual remarks.
