JAMMU, Nov 12: ADGP Armed J&K Arun Kumar Choudhary felicitated J&K Police Wushu player Surya Bhanu Partap Singh and National Chief Coach (Wushu) Kuldeep Handoo for winning Bronze Medal in 9th Sanda World Cup held in Hangzhou, China.
During the felicitation ceremony held in Armed Police Headquarters J&K Jammu, the ADGP Armed J&K, his Staff Officer Mehmood Ahmad SSP, Chief Prosecuting Officer APHQ Mohammad Shafi Rather and DySP Sports APHQ Mushtaq Ahmad Wani congratulated Kuldeep Handoo and Surya Bhanu Partap Singh for their remarkable achievement in the 9th Sanda World Cup and wished them success in their future endeavor.
On the occasion the ADGP appreciated Kuldeep Handoo for imparting training of highest standard to J&K Police/ Indian team Wushu players consistently which could make it possible to bring laurels for the country in general and J&K State/ J&K Police in particular in the International level.
The Indian Wushu Team comprising four players including Surya Bhanu Partap Singh from Jammu and Kashmir Police headed by Kuldeep Handoo, National Chief Coach of India has secured 4 medals (one Silver and three Bronze) in the aforesaid International event. All the four players of the Indian Wushu Team had qualified for participation in the 9th Sanda World Cup-2018 during 14th World Wushu Championship-2017 held at Kazan (Russia).
