ADCSA seeks CM’s intervention in removal of pay anomaly

JAMMU, Apr 12: Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh All Departmental Clerical Staff Association (ADCSA) today appealed Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to intervene personally to remove pay anomalies (originated by 5th Pay Commission) of clerical cadre.
The issue was discussed threadbare in a meeting of the Association which was attended by Ali Mohd Mir (president), Jeelani Naik (general secretary) and other leaders. The speakers expressed anguish over statement given by the Finance Minister on the issue of clerical pay disparity, where he said that the Government is going to implement the 7th Pay Commission without removal of disparity.
The speakers said that it is unacceptable as the Ex Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu after chairing a meeting of Pay Anomaly Committee on October 9, 2017 had not only briefed the media that Government is going to remove the clerical pay disparity with 7th Pay Commission, but also assured the leadership of the Clerical Association of the same.
The representatives said that the statement in question made by present Finance Minister is very unfortunate and cruel joke with the directions of Chief Minister and then Finance Minister as well as for the whole clerical cadre and also open invitation to confrontation.
