ADC resolves bottlenecks causing hindrance in execution of four laning work

RAMBAN, Feb 17: Additio-nal Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Angrez Singh Rana assessed and resolved the bottlenecks causing hindrances in execution of the four laning work from Ramban to Banihal.
ADC was accompanied by SDM Banihal, Vikas Verma, DFO Ramban, Zuhaib Chowd-hary, AEE TLMD and Tehsildar Banihal.
ADC resolved various issues pertaining to installation of crushers at Ramsoo and batching plant at Sherbibi. The issue of HT re-installation as raised by locals of Kaskoot was resolved after taking the same with Regional Director NHAI Srinagar telephonically.
He visited Bankoot where the locals were causing obstructing to execution of T77 railway tunnel on the plea that blasting inside the tunnel may cause damage to their houses. He assured the locals for providing compensation by the railways authorities if damaged are caused to their houses during blasting.
On the request of HCC authorities, Tehsildars of Banihal, Ramsoo and Ramban were directed to identify suitable State land for muck dumping. Meanwhile, he directed the executing agencies to take maintenance work of national highway on priority basis for the convenience of passers-by and vehicles.
During the tour, the ADC telephonically requested the Regional Director NHAI for black listing of M/s Ramkay Infrastructure owing to its inability to start work on KM 188 to 189.5 for which land was also acquired and handed over to the said company on 20-09-2016.
He also directed the executing agencies to adhere to the guidelines of the NGT while dumping the muck and start plantations over the muck dumping area so that greenery is restored.
