UDHAMPUR, June 18: Additional Deputy Commissi-oner Udhampur, Avny Lavasa today inaugurated famous Chougan Mela at Sunal, Majalta.
Addressing the gathering, ADC said that district administration has put up stalls for providing information to the people about the various Government schemes and exhorted upon the common masses to avail maximum benefits of these welfare programmes.
Besides this cultural programmes presented by the local artists were highly appreciated by the audience during the Mela.
Tehsildar Majalta, BDO Khoon and many prominent people were also present on the occasion.
