Adbi Kunj organizes literary meet

JAMMU, Sept 5: After the successful colourful function organized on the eve of 44th Foundation Day celebrations at KL Saigal Hall of Cultural Academy, the popular multilingual literary organization- `Adbi Kunj’ held another weekly literary special meet on the occasion of Teachers’ Day celebrations.
The meet was presided over by Sham Talib while Bishan Dass Khak conducted the proceeding of the meet. The meet began with a detailed report on the last day function of Foundation Day by Arash Dalmotra, chairman Adbi Kunj Jammu.
In his welcome address Sham Talib president of the organization congratulated and thanked all the members for well organized of 44th Foundation Day function. This literary weekly special meet also celebrated in commemoration of the birth anniversary of Dr S. Radha Kridhnan, the former President of India. On the occasion Sham Talib asked the writers to follow the path of shown by Dr Krishnan for the betterment of society with their writings. He described teachers as torch bearer of the society.
In the composite poetic session, the poets recited their various `Kalams’ in different languages whereas, singer poets also sang their various poems and bhajans.
They included Aarash Dalmotr, MS Wafa, Raj Kamal, Bishan Dass Khak, Sanjeev Kumar, Abdul Jabar, Shamas Rajan, Rajeev Kumar, Uttam Sohil, Ved Uppala and SK Gupta.
