Adbi Kunj holds literary meet

JAMMU, Dec 29: Adbi Kunj held another multifaceted get together at its literary centre Kidzee School Talab Tillo, on the eve of 14th Dogri Manayata Diwas celebrations, here.
The meet was presided over by Dogri poet Er. Jagdish Chander Sharma.
In the welcome address, Sham Talib expressed his views on Dogri Manayata Diwas and threw light on the various aspects of this day.
He also highlighted the long struggle for this holy day.
Adbi Kunj Jammu also celebrated the day of social values of society, the National Consumer Day.
On the occasion, various luminaries highlighted the importance of the day.
In the meet, a composite ‘mushaira’ was also held.
In the first roundup of the session, poets recited their various Kalam on the different aspects of Dogri Manayata Diwas and National Consumer Day.
The 2nd phase of the session was a Dogri poetic roundup.
Singer Chaman and Ved Uppal sang beautiful Dogri songs.
Other poets of the session included Jagdish Chander Sharma, Sarwar Chohan Habib, Aarash Dalmotra, Masoom Kishtwari, M.S.Wafa, Raj Kamal, Bashir-Ul-Haq, Chaman Sagoch, Ved Uppal, M. Baqar Saaba, Sanjeev Kumar, Santosh Nadan, Rajiv Kumar and Sham Talib.
Aarash Dalmotra presented vote of thanks.
