Action against 8 students, exam centre cancelled

JAMMU, Dec 12: State Paramedical Council, has taken stern action against copying by some students at Doda examination centre during the conduct of paramedical examination.
Taking a serious note, it took action against eight students involved in copying as reported by Chief Medical Officer, Doda and their examination was cancelled. Further acting upon the reports submitted by the observer of the Paramedical Council, Vice-President and Principal and dean Government Medical College, Jammu, Dr Sunanda Raina directed the concerned Chief Medical Officer Doda to cancel the examination centre at Islamia Farida Higher Secondary School Doda and issued directions to shift the centre to a better placed building preferably Government Degree College or Boys/Girls Higher Secondary School for paper B scheduled to be held on December 16.
Dr (Professor) A S Bhatia Controller Examination J&K State Paramedical Council, Jammu Division and Dr Sandeep Singh, Registrar J&K State Paramedical Council, reiterated zero tolerance towards copying in examination and asserted that this will not be tolerated at any cost.
Dr A S Bhatia further requested all Chief Medical Officers involved in the examination process to strictly monitor the examination centres so that such sanctity of examination is maintained.
