JAMMU, Apr 19: A police cop displayed a rare act of honesty by handing over the lost purse containing cash to its actual owner in Udhampur town.
A police cop namely Angrez Singh Manhas, a resident of Kashtigarh, District Doda serving in District Udhampur found a lady purse containing cash. There was no identity proof to ascertain the identity of the owner of the purse.
Angrez Singh after showing sense of honesty, traced out the owner of the purse namely Sudesh Kumari, wife of Satpaul Bucha, a resident of Geeta Bhawan, Chabutra Bazaar, District Udhampur.
After conducting verification, the cop handed over the purse to lady in presence of her husband.
