SRINAGAR, Nov 7: Police last evening arrested Assistant Commissioner Revenue Bandipora, Masrat Hussian Khan, from Srinagar for killing a woman in a road accident in Soura area of Srinagar.
Station House Officer Soura, Ayaz Geelani told Excelsior that Khan while driving a car hit 70-year old woman, Lal Jana at Ahmad Nagar area of Soura. The woman, a resident of Bacchpora was brought dead to SKIMS.
Khan was arrested from the spot and his car was seized. He is on police remand and investigation into the case is going on.
