KATRA, Feb 11: For his contribution in the field of Football, ace International Footballer from Jammu, Arun Malhotra was honoured by Advisor to Governor, K Vijay Kumar during the inaugural ceremony of the North Zone leg of Santosh Trophy at SMVDSB Stadium, here today.
On the occasion, the Advisor was accompanied by CEO Shrine Board, Simrandeep Singh; Secretary J&K State Sports Council, Naseem Choudhary; President Jammu and Kashmir Football Association, Zamir Thakur and Ashok Kumar, Director Sports SMVDSB.
It is pertinent to mention here that Arun Malhotra is the recipient of State and Sher-e-Kashmir Award for outstanding sportspersons. He has also the honour of keeping the State’s flag high at the National scene.
