JAMMU, Apr 10: J&K Accounts Employees Association discussed the pending demands of the accounts employees.
In a meeting of the Association held here today under the chairmanship of Kulwant Singh, its president, the members strongly projected the pending issues of the employees. The members unanimously decided to meet Finance Minister shortly and project their issues before him.
They demanded declaration of departmental result of ACC, SAC-I and SAC-II and also PSC to conduct departmental exam twice a year as per past practice; withdraw clarification of departmental SRO 160 dated 10-5-2006, OMNA/89/5-984 dated 22-08-2006, under trainees in ACC be given salary, hike pay grade of Accounts Assistants, up-gradation of treasury system, removal of 18 months barrier for departmental examination.
Prominent among others present included SKS Khalsa, Prem Thappa, Ram Pal Choudhary, Hanief, Anil Sharma,Subhash Raina, Ashok Sharma and Mahesh Kumar.
