JAMMU, Aug 12: Accounts employees of the State will go on mass casual leave tomorrow and hold a protest in support of their demands at Finance Complex, Muthi in Jammu.
The decision in this connection was taken during a meeting of J&K Accounts Employees Association, Jammu held today under the presidentship of Kamal Singh Pathania.
A spokesperson of the Association said that all the treasuries of the State will remain non-functional tomorrow in view of their protest and mass casual leave.
The demands of the Accounts employees are fixation of seniority at the level of junior Scale Accounts officer, creation of posts in various departments, extension of recommendations of 6th Pay Commission in respect of J&K Accounts Subordinate Service Class I Assistant Accounts Officers, regularization of I/c AAOs, I/c AOs, I/c CAOs, implementation of transfer policy, etc.
