JAMMU, Jan 7: A victim of road accident today succumbed to his injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to an police official, a man identified as Amar Nath (72) son of Kripu, resident of Chenani, was shifted here at GMCH on December 29 after he received serious injuries in a road mishap at Udhampur.
However, the man succumbed to his injuries today at about 10 AM. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
