ABVP registers 30,000 students, frames 80 units

JAMMU, Nov 4: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarathi Parishad (ABVP) has registered almost 30,000 students and declared 30 units till date across the State.
This was stated by State secretary of ABVP Varsha Jandial, its organizing secretary (Poonch-Rajouri), Anchal Singh and ABVP State office secretary, Avinash Sethi at a joint press conference. They briefed the recent activities of ABVP Jammu and Kashmir and the upcoming activities of this session.
Varsha explained that ABVP have reached almost every major institute in their membership drive, and registered almost 30000 students and declared 80 units till now and the process is still on. “We have felicitated around 650 students, excelling in different fields in different districts. And now around 300 students are leaving for Kerala for a rally on 11th November 2017 against the red terror increasing in the state”. She further detailed about the Sunil Padha Memorial Gyan Pratiyogita, a State level entrance test going to be held on December 17 this year by ABVP J&K for the 9th to 12th class students.
Talking on the recent issues she stated that ABVP is not going to tolerate any injustice with the students of the State. Whether its PSC results or SRO 202 ABVP is going to fight for the student issues and will not let the students suffer on any ground.
Varsha further commented on the ongoing flaws in the education sector in J&K and stated that ABVP is keeping an eye on all and will not let anything wrong decision to be in the field. “We have a clear stand on the issues and warned the concerned authorities to take immediate decision on the issues that are affecting the students in one or the another way”, she added.
