JAMMU, Nov 20: In connection with birthday of Rani Laxmi Bai, ABVP Jammu Mahanagar today organized a round table conference to pay tributes to ‘Jhansi Ki Rani’.
During the conference, Dr Arti Sharma (Professor SKUAST-Jammu and ABVP Jammu Mahanagar vice-president) discussed the role of ABVP and its efforts to empower women by organizing such type of programs.
Ruchika Byas (M Pharma) concluded the conference along with other prominent ladies including Sugandha Mahajan (DSP Jammu), Mamta Singh (vice president, BJP J&K), Dr Meenakshi Keelam (Director, Internal Quality Assurance, JU), Dr Pallavi, Dr Sujata, Naina Dogra (Joint Girls Incharge, ABVP Jammu Mahanagar), Bhawna Bharti (Joint Secretary, ABVP Jammu Mahanagar).
The conference concluded with a common view that it is need of the time to aware the society how women are coming forward to contribute their profession to the nation.
