JAMMU, July 9: Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad Akhnoor on the eve of Foundation Day of ABVP organised Volleyball Tournament in which 7 teams participated.
Govind Sharma, State Working Committee Member ABVP JK was the Parishad speaker on the occasion, while Rajeev Sharma, MLA Akhnoor was the chief guest on the occasion and Raman Sharma was the guest of honour.
While addressing the students present in the programme Govind Sharma said that on this Foundation Day ABVP is trying to promote sports amongst the youth so that the students stay away from drugs, which is a big challenge for the country.
He said that this is 69th Foundation Day of ABVP and is celebrated as National Students Day throughout the country, which the students of Akhnoor must also celebrate.
Rajeev Sharma, MLA Akhnoor said that ABVP Akhnoor is working really good for the development of students in the field of personality development as well as physical development by organizing such sports events.
