Absorb package employees in Central Govt Deptts: KPC

NEW DELHI, June 29: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) has demanded that remaining 3000 posts meant for Kashmiri migrants under PM’s job package be filled up in Central Government Departments in view of the prevailing security scenario in the Valley.
The KPC which held a meeting here today under the chairmanship of its president Kundan Kashmiri demanded that the remaining 3000 KP youth to be appointed under PM package be absorbed in Central Government Departments and posted outside Valley. Moreover there should be no draconian undertaking attached with the employment forms hence forth, he added.
He also demanded that the female migrant employees be posted outside the Valley and Government should also ensure security of the KP employees serving in Kashmir.
Kashmir said the Government should accelerate the process for implementation of PM’s job package by engaging all the 3000 youth in Central Government Departments outside Valley.
He also demanded passage of Shrines and Temples Bill with settling of the problems confronted by the displaced people in Valley like  bifurcation of ration cards, issuance of Backward certificates, due compensation to over aged youth and construction of quarters in Kashmir Valley for migrant employees posted there.  The meeting reiterated one place settlement of KPS in Valley and starting of work on construction of more quarters at Purkhoo as assured by Government.
