JAMMU, May 20: An absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past four years, landed in Satwari police net.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Satwari police station conducted raid and arrested an absconder, who was at large since last four years.
The accused has been identified as Kulwant Singh alias Subash, son of Hari Singh of Narwal Pain.
He was evading his arrest in a case registered under FIR Number 91/2007 under Section 341 and 323 RPC registered with Satwari police station. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against the accused by the court.
Further investigation into the case is going on. Police team led by SHO Satwari Inspector Manjeet Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO South Mohammad Rafiq Manhas and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
