JAMMU, Mar 6: Chinore police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past two years.
As per police sources, police team from Chinore police post conducted a raid and arrested an absconder from Patiala Chak.
The accused has been identified as Ram Dayal, son of Devi Dass of Reshamghar Colony.
He was wanted in a case registered under 13 Gambling Act with police station Domana. The accused was evading his arrest for the past two years and warrant of 512 CrPC was also issued by Special Municipal Mobile Judicial Magistrate 1st Class Jammu against him.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge police post Chinore SI Deepak Katoch made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Domana Jaipal Sharma, SDPO Domana Sanjay Parihar and SP Rural Rajeev Pandey.
