JAMMU, Apr 18: Chowk Chabutra police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Chowk Chabutra Police Post conducted raid and apprehended an absconder, who was at large since long.
The accused has been identified as Bharat Bushan, son of Shankar Lal, a resident of Neota tehsil Bhaderwah disrict Doda.
He was involved in a case registered under FIR number 179/2002 with Police Station Pacca Danga.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Chowk Chabutra Police Post SI Purab Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Pacca Danga SI Dheeraj Nagpal, SDPO City Varun Jandial and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
