Abrogation of Art 35-A may bring change in J&K’s demography: Mir

KATHUA, Aug 23:  State president of  Pradesh Congress Committee,  GA Mir has alleged that withdrawal of Article 35-A will being change in the demography of the J&K State.
Addressing party delegates convention at  Kathua today, PCC president said that policies of  BJP-PDP coalition and  revocation of Article 35A will have serious impact on the State.
He alleged that  PDP-BJP Coalition Govt has not any agenda before the people and has failed on its  false and hollow promises made with people  during the elections.  They  wants to change attention  of the people from the basic issues by raking up some controversial  issues.

Mir alleged that it is very strange that one coalition partner has agenda to abrogate Article 35A and second partner is working for safeguard of 35-A . Both are befooling the people of  the State. They are playing a fixed match.
On the abrogation of Article 35A, he added that there will be demographic change in all the three regions of the State and the outside  people will show their rights on land of State and there would be larger encroachment on  land in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
The people of other States  would also show their right on Govt jobs, and it will  raise unemployment for State people.  The J&K state is not so rich and self-sufficient  as the other states like Rajasthan, Punjab and Maharashtra. The Jammu region will have serious impact with it.
He said that it is surprised to say that  BJP ruling states are working for safe guard of  their people but in J&K State it is totally on  different. It is against abrogation of  Article 35A and Art 370.
On the stand of Congress on 35A , Mir said that top Congress  leader  Pt Nehru gave us all rights for the safe guard of J&K people. It will not be begging  given by the then rulers.
PCC senior vice president, Sham Lal Sharma, MLC Balbir Singh, Ex MLA Girdhari  Lal Chalotra,  Pankaj Dogra and some other senior leaders also spoke on the occasion.
