JAMMU, Sept 17: Talented cueist Abhishek Pathania will lock horns with equally strong Ishuk Choudhary in the finals of the ongoing Senior Snooker Championship, being organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here.
Earlier, in the first semifinal, Abhishek defeated Avish Sharma in a close contest by (4-3) with the final scores reading (61-63, 67-50, 44-56, 64-52, 45-60, 66-23, 59-26), while in second semifinal Ishuk Choudhary got the better of Ishan Choudhary (4-3) in an exciting contest by (59-44, 49-11, 50-63, 63-13, 58-64, 50-20, 74-60).
Meanwhile, in Senior Billiards, Ishuk Choudhary defeated Gurjeev Singh (2-0) by (101-90, 100-82) and Nikhil Kapahi drubbed Mandeep Singh (2-0) by (101-88, 100-70).
