JAMMU, Jan 2: Aans Valley Fest, a sports tournament including various events concluded at Village Samote, today.
The Fest is held every year by Samote based Rashtriya Rifle Battalion of Uniform Force to inculcate the sports spirit among the people of the area and also to provide exposure to the talented youth.
General Officer Commanding Uniform Force was the chief guest on the concluding ceremony, who distributed awards and certificates among the winners and participants of various events.
While speaking on the occasion, GOC Uniform Force informed the locals that the emphasis was given on including women sports events in the festival, adding that the best part was that the women of the area took active part in the event.
He appreciated the local people for maintaining peace during the fest.
