The Government of India deserves praises for extending the date line of linkage of Aadhar card till March 31, next. However linking mobile phones with the Aadhar could be done only till Feb 6, 2018. Likewise last date for linking Bank accounts with the Aadhar is fixed at Dec 31, 2017 only.
It is not known by a common citizen as to where he or she could get amends done in respect of name, parentage , date of birth etc in his card and therefore, a detailed list of such outlets , offices, agencies etc must be made known through the media .
Most of the card holders are not conversant to get it done through on line facilities. Hence it should be conveyed as to where and how such changes could be got done .
