A welcome reform

Sir,
I would bring to the notice a welcome reform that was introduced in the listing of cases which does not appear to be in vogue presently.
A few years back the Hon’ble High Court of Jammu and Kashmir introduced a novel method for early hearing of cases involving Senior citizens. This reform did help senior citizens in early disposal of their cases in their life time particularly involving retiral benefits and similar issues. This reform ensured in listing of cases of Senior Citizens higher up in the cause lists and thereby ensuring early disposal of cases in the life time of these Senior Citizens. However, this welcome reform does not appear to be in vogue any more now. As a result cases of these Senior Citizens are listed at their roster points unless a petitioner is fortunate when the Courts are pleased to order higher up listing of the cases. The predicament of these senior citzen petitioners is futher accentuated when only one day is allotted for final hearing cases in a weekly cause List.
I would wish to request the Chief Justice and other judges of the Hon’ ble High Court possibility of some reform may kindly be considered which can ensure early disposal of cases involving Senior Citizens in their life time.Any decision however favourable it may be looses its charm if the petitioner is dead when it is given. Will the authorities consider?
