3 killed, 39 injured in Valley blast

SRINAGAR, Oct 28: In a blatant security lapse, militants today launched another rifle grenade attack on the Civil Secretariat complex in which three Government employees got killed and 18 others injured. The successful attack came in broad day light, a day before the annual closure of Move offices in the summer capital but within a month of similar offensive on September 29 last in which one policeman had got killed and five others injured.......more

UDHAMPUR, Oct 28: Three persons including a militant, a Rashtriya Rifles soldier and a civilian were killed while a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) and another jawan were injured in an encounter at Duligam in Banihal tehsil of Doda district last night.
