Gandhinagar Jammu Sealed quotations for the supply of furniture worth Rs. 1 lakh are invited from the reputed firms possessing CST/GST No. and dealing in manufacturing of furniture by 2 P.M. on 22.11.99 as per the specifications and drawings available from Vidyalaya Office between 0830 to 1030 hours on all working days w.e.f. 11.11.99 to 20.11.99. Quotations should be sent under strong sealed cover marked as "Quotations for supply of furniture.' The rates quoted should be FOR K.V. No. 1 Jammu and include all taxes and duties liable in respect of the supplies. The person whose quotation is accepted, called contractor shall deposit security deposit of 10% of the order value. The contractor shall supply the articles within 30 days from the issue of the supply order. If the contractor fails to supply the articles within the stipulated time, the U/S shall be at liberty to purchase the articles from the market and the difference in price, if any shall be deducted from the security deposit. The rates quoted by the contractor shall be valid upto 20.11.2000. The order for purchase shall be placed to the firm approved by the Vidyalaya executive committee as per KVS rules. In the event of placing of order for purchase, the articles ordered for would be subjected to an inspection at less polished stage by the U/S or his representative and are liable to be rejected, if the articles do not conform to the specification prescribed. The contractor shall fix a label on the furniture giving his name and year of manufacture. The amount of security deposit shall be retained by the Vidyalaya for a period of six months from the date of completion of supplies as a safeguard against any defect appearing in the articles supplied within the period.
