Parvez MusharrafNEW DELHI, Nov 6: Differences between India and Pakistan have become somewhat serious, with New Delhi straightaway shooting down a proposal conveyed through informal channels by Pakistan’s military ruler, Gen. Parvez Musharraf, that he wants to visit India at an earlier date. The track-two diplomatic channels, which carried the offer to the National Development Alliance (NDA) Government headed by Mr Atal Behari Vajpayee, indicated that the offer was a result of Gen. Musharraf’s desire to reciprocate Indian Prime Minister’s trip to Lahore earlier this year........more

CHILLA DANGA (SAMBA), Nov 6: Army has been deployed in some sensitive areas of Samba especially along a new infiltration route of Pakistani militants passing through Utterbehni and Chilla Danga villages and reaching upto Doda via Mansar and Udhampur.
