SRINAGAR, Dec 16: While as security forces and Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu & Kashmir Police have eliminated at least 6 militants in four different encounters in Kashmir valley since last evening, an unidentified hitman today gunned down a Forest guard in Khaki uniform at Nawab Bazar, in front of a paramilitary bunker. Troops have also recovered a dead body from Lalmarg area of Safapora heights and the same is believed to be of a militant earlier killed in an encounter.......more
