Pak attack on

NEW DELHI, Oct 20:

A multi directional attack by Pakistani troops on a tactically important post on the Siachen Glacier was repulsed by Indian forces on Sunday, Army sources said here today.

SRINAGAR, Oct 20: Chief Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah is turning 62 year old today.

Even as Dr Abdullah has a hectic schedule of official engagements, including that of Police Commemoration Day Parade at Zewan in the morning, inauguration of a UNESCO seminar at College of Education in the afternoon and later an important Cabinet meeting at 1700 hours, he is not going to hold any function to celebrate his birthday.
