TENDER NOTICE NIT No : 08 of 1998-99 Dated : 28-11-98 Tender affixed with Rs 2.00 only
(Rs two only) revenue stamps are invited from registered
Firms/ Suppliers/approved contractors who are in valid
registration card duly renewed for the year 1998-99
ending 03/99 on behalf of the Governor of J&K State
for supply of Filter sand 10,000 Cft from Ganderbal
Srinagar as per specification/terms and conditions laid
as under :- 1. The tender should reach office of the
undersigned on or before 10-12-98. 2. The sand should not
give any turbidity when mixed with clean water. 3. The
sand should be hard sharpgranual free from clay loam and
dust, organic matters roots or any other impurities. 4.
The sand should be of 0.25 mm to 0.33 mm in size and
co-efficiency of 1.5 mm to 1.75 mm which shall be
determined by seive analysis. 5. The sand should not
loose more than 5 by weight when immersed in concentrated
Hydrochloric acid for twenty four (24) hours. 6. It
should not contain more than 10s micracious matter. 7. On
Ignition the sand should not loose more than 2% of its
weight.TERMS AND
CONDITIONS : 1. The rates are FOR Doda. 2. The
freight charges from Srinagar to Doda per quintal will be
paid extra on actual weight on production of cost paid
from the Manager SRTC Jammu/Srinagar. 3. The firm shall
supply the sand in empty bags and cost of empty bags will
be paid extra on approved rates. 4. The firm shall have
to be deposit 2s amount as security on the value of
supply order before its supply. 5. The firm will supply
the sand within fifteen days from the date of supply
order. In case delay penalty upto 10% will be imposed. 6.
The sand should be of desired specification. The sub
standard sand if found shall have to be replaced by the
firm at his own expenses.
