92nd birthday of Vajpayee celebrated as ‘Good Governance Day’

JAMMU, Dec 25: The 92nd birthday of Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was celebrated across the State as “Good Governance Day” by BJP.
The State office bearers, senior leaders, Ministers, MLAs, MLCs, District and Morcha Presidents chaired colorful programmes at district and constituency levels.
JAMMU: BJP State President and MLA Sat Sharma, alongwith State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, State Chief Spokesperson Sunil Sethi and others leaders, lighted 92 earthen lamps and spoke on the life of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Sat Sharma, Ashok Kaul, Chief Spokesman Sunil Sethi, State Vice-Presidents Parmod Kapahi and Rajni Sethi, State Secretary Sanjay Baru, Additional Treasurer Arvind Gupta, BJP Morcha Incharge Munish Sharma, District President Ayodhya Gupta and Mahila Morcha District President Veena Gupta expressed their views on the occasion.
The proceedings were conducted by Sanjeev Sharma and Power Point presentation of the Cashless Economy was also demonstrated during the programme by Puneet Mahajan.
MLC Ashok Khajuria chaired the programme and announced a transformer for the area out of his CDF at Muthi, whereas in Khour, MLA Dr Krishan Lal Bhagat chaired the programme.
Ex-MLA Ashwani Sharma and Bishnah Seh-Parbhari Suraj Singh celebrated the day with party activists at Arnia and Jammu District President Baldev Singh Billawaria celebrated the day with party activists at Digiana, Brijeshwar Rana along with party activists celebrated the day at RS Pura and Naresh Sharma joined the party activists to celebrate the day at Miran Sahib.
Kissan Morcha organised Sushasan Divas programme at Nagbani which was chaired by State Vice-President Karan Singh and Morcha State President Rajinder Singh, whereas at Bahu Fort and Rajeev Nagar, State Secretary Anuradha Charak and Training Department Incharge Rajeev Charak attended the birthday celebration programmes.
BJP State General Secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul alongwith MLCs Surinder Ambardar and Sofi Yousuf addressed large gathering while chairing a programme on Good Governance Day at Durga Nagar BJP State Working Committee Member Nand Kishore joined party activists to celebrate the day at Nagrota and Dansal.
The birthday of the former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratana Atal Bihari Vajpayee was celebrated in Vardhman Bal Vatika. MLA Jammu east Rajesh Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion and Raj Kumar Jain President of the Sabha was the guest of honour. The students of the Vardhman Bal Vatika presented many cultural items.
KATHUA: Minister for Forest, Environment and Ecology Ch. Lal Singh chaired a function organized by Private Schools Association to celebrated Good Governance Day at Nav Adarsh Higher Secondary School. President of the Association Gandharab Singh Katal, Dr Hari Dutt Shishu, Prof Verinder Gupta, Incharge State Level Atal Bihari Vajpayee Birthday Celebration Committee, Swami Parmanand Saraswati, Kamal Gupta, President of the Association, DC Kathua and many others were present on the occasion. Prem Nath Dogra and MLA Rajeev Jasrotia chaired similar programmes at Keediyan Gandial.
SAMBA: Minister for Commerce and Industries Chander Parkash Ganga and Sanjeev Sharma joined the Party activists to celebrate the day at Vijaypur. MLA Davinder Manyal and Rakesh Mahajan also took part in a similar programme.
UDHAMPUR: State General Secretary Pawan Khajuria, alongwith District President Rakesh Gupta chaired the function.
REASI: MoS Finance Ajay Nanda and District President Kuldeep Dubey joined the party activists to celebrate the day. At Chasana, BJP Leader Pardeep Singh led the party activists to celebrate the day.
LEH: Minister for Cooperatives & Ladakh Affairs Chhering Dorjey and LAHDC Chief Executive Councilor Dr Sonam Dawa chaired Good Governance Day programme organised by District President Tsewang Gonbo. A similar programme was organized at Kargil and President BJP Kargil Mohammad Ali, spokesperson of the party Mohammad Subhan Jaffery addressed the gathering.
RAJOURI: State Additional Secretary Rajinder Gupta chaired the Good Governance Day programme.
DODA: MLA Shakti Parihar celebrated the day at Bhaderwah.
POONCH: MLA Dalip Parihar alongwith District President Manjeet Razdan celebrated the day at Poonch, whereas in Mendhar, State Secretary Sunil Gupta and District President Somnath chaired the programmes.
RAMBAN: MLA Neelam Langeh and District President Ramesh Sharma chaired the programme.
KASHMIR: On the occasion of birthday of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajapyee, BJYM activists celebrated it as “Good Governance” Day and motivated youth for using the digital modes of payments using the mobile phones. The program was organized across Kashmir province which was led by BJYM State President Dr Suresh Ajay Magotra. State vice-president Er Aijaz Hussain and Secretary Bilal Parray demonstrated youth about “DigitalKranti”.
