92% women want AAP to contest elections in J&K: Survey

JAMMU, Aug 28: About 92% women want Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to contest upcoming Assembly elections in the J&K State.
This has come to the fore in a survey conducted by AAP near Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, here today. The idea of conducting survey was mooted in a meeting organised by Vipan Nischal.
During the survey people were asked whether Aam Aadmi Party should contest the coming elections against corruption in J&K. The results of the survey were positive, as 92 % opined that AAP should contest the elections, whereas 7% responded with “No” and 1% reserved their opinion.
This indicates that the people are interested in conducting the elections by the AAP, Vipan Nischal said, adding in near future such surveys will be conducted by the Aam Aadmi Party in Kashmir as well as Ladakh.
The survey was conducted under the supervision of Vipan Nischal along with other team members including Dr Karan ISS, Hema Mahajan, Ashok Kumar Karihalu, Rabinder Singh, Rajesh Bali, Manjeet Singh and Pritam Singh.
