SAMBA, June 4: The 80 Bn BSF organized a blood donation camp in Pagotaur village of Samba district near here, today.
A special team of Jammu Medical College was also present to collect the blood. About 40 people came forward and donated blood on the occasion. Doctors speaking on the occasion said that every one should donate regular blood so that somebody’s life in society is saved. They further said that regular blood donation does not increase the cholesterol in the body and the risk of cancer is also reduced.
They said that every single drop of blood saves one individual and blood donation is considered as the great donation of life.
After three months, one can donate blood again.
People complimented the GMC and the BSF for organising the blood donation camp.
