UDHAMPUR Apr 25: Police today rescued eight bovine animals and arrested the accused, who was intercepted at Tikri.
A Police party from PP Tikri, under the command of Sub-Inspector Sanjay Raina I/C PP Tikri, laid a surprise naka and intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle, bearing Registration number JK06-3424, in which 08 bovine animals were packed.
The accused driver namely Mohd Sadiq son of Ali Mohd of Krimchi Udhampur was arrested on the spot and vehicle was also seized.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 52/2017 U/S 188/RPC 3 PCA has been registered at Police Station Rehambal
