DODA, Feb 19: The sleuths of Forest Department retrieved 70 kanals of forest land from encroachers.
As per official sources, the sleuths of Forest Department under the supervision of Conservator of Forest Chenab Region TB Singh, Divisional Forest Officer Bhaderwah and Range Officer Bhellessa Sameer Rishu evicted 70 kanals of encroached forest land from encroachers in Compartment Numbers 8, 40 and 48 of Bhallesa of Forest Division Bhaderwah.
In this regard, proceeding under J&K Forest Act has been initiated.
