7 injured in road accidents

POONCH, Nov 29: Seven persons were injured in two separate road accidents in Kalaban area of  Mendhar Sub Division today.
Official sources said that a private Eco vehicle (No. JK12A/1871),  belonging to Head Master, Farooq Ahmed  of a local Govt School, skidded off the road and fell into a small gorge near Kalaban (Chhatral) today. Three persons including Head Master were injured in the mishap. Besides Farooq Ahmed, his two other family  members injured in mishap are, Shahnaz Akhtar  and Rubina Naz. Rubina,  is also said to be an employee of Education Department.  All the three were shifted to Mendhar Hospital.

Four persons were injured when a Tata Mobile vehicle No. JK-14/2182 rolled down into a small gorge in the same area of Kalaban this afternoon. Two oxen were also loaded in the vehicle and one of them was  killed in the mishap, while another injured.
The injured passengers were identified as – Fatima Bi, wife of Mehboob Ahmed; Safia Bi, wife  of Mohd Ishaq, Farzana Kouser, daughter of Mohd Razak and 2-year -old child,  Kashish. They were also admitted to SDH Mendhar. The BMO said that all of them were said to be out of danger.
