KATHUA, May 22: At least seven persons, including three women, were injured when a bus they were traveling in collided with a tractor trolley near Sakte-Chack on Jammu-Pathankote National Highway here.
As per police sources, a bus bearing registration number JK02AQ-5493 collided with a tractor-trolley bearing registration number JK08D-5702 coming from opposite direction near Saktechack area on Jammu-Pathankote National Highway here this morning.
After getting information, police and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to District Hospital (DH) Kathua, where their condition was stated to be stable, when reports last came in.
The injured have been identified as Talib Hussain, son of Ghulam Haider of Lowang, Surinder Kumar, son of Charan Dass of Hiranagar, Sureksha Devi, wife of Rash Pal of Basohli, Kanta Devi, wife of Radhey Sham of Bani, Shagufta, daughter of Mohammad Zarif of Lowang, Santosh Kumar, son of Mukhi Ram of Chattisgarh, at present Chappki and Deepak Khajuria, son of Sat Pal Khajuria of Bani.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Kathua police station and investigation started.
