7 injured in bus-tanker collision

RAJOURI, Nov 30: At least seven persons were injured when a passenger bus collided with an oil tanker coming from  opposite direction near Muradpur on Jammu-Rajouri highway this evening.
Police sources said that a bus No. JK02BM/ 3189 coming from Jammu side to Rajouri had collision with oil tanker No. JK02BK/5475 near Muradpur. Seven bus passengers received injuries and they were shifted to District Hospital, Rajouri. All are said to be out of danger.
The victims were identified as Priyanka (15), daughter of Sanjay Sharma; her 9 year old brother- Atul and mother-Sanjogita (44), wife of Sajay Kumar, residents of  Muradpur; Nirmala Devi (50), wife of  Vakil Chand, resident of Dharat in Sunderbani; Tilak Raj, son of Shri Ram, resident of Dharat; Suraj Kumar (18), son of Vinod Biswas, resident of Bihar and Bashir Ahmed, son of Mohd Din, resident of Shahdara Sharief in Thannamandi. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
