KATHUA, Mar 29: A Lok Adalat was held in the premises of District Court Complex here under the chairmanship of Vinod Chatterji Koul, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Kathua.
Two benches were constituted to settle the cases. The first bench comprised of Vinod Chatterji Koul, Principal District and Session Judge Kathua and SC Katal, Additional District and Sessions Judge Kathua, while the second bench comprised of Amarjeet Singh Langeh, Chief Judicial Magistrate Kathua and Preet Simran Kour, Munsiff JMIC Kathua.
A total of 7 cases were disposed off, while an award of Rs 16,65,000 was passed in favour of the petitioners.
